Im going out on a limb here.
But I am guaranteeing that Melvin will place ahead of Phil at the arnold.
Also I am going to be the first to say that Melvin will win the arnold classic.

I don't think so. I put him 4th, with Phil, dexter and Kia ahead of him.

Friday at my gym, Melvin had a photo shoot and was pretty impressive.
I know him personally and like the dude
but i have to say that Dexter Jackson is going to win the Arnold. The last time Dexter was even slightly off in condition was at the 2002 GNC.
I think the battle will be for second.

Nope. Maybe 4th or 5th. He's way too soft for being 2 weeks out. Phil's only competition will be Dex.

LMFAO!!!! That's a good one. Hey, I got a bridge in Brooklyn for sale if you want it. Unless Phil TOTALLY fucks up, he is going to place a 1st or 2nd. Melvin is good, really good, but unless he has those glutes and hams like Phil and Dexter, he's going to be fighting for 3rd or 4th with Kai

its sad that it comes down to a hamstring and glute contest, but ur right, melvin is never hard in those areas and it will cost him if he doesn't fix it...with that being said i am a huge melvin fan and would love to see him win the arnold

I believe that Phil won the Ironman at only 90 % of the Condition what he is able to achieve. And in his case that`s enough for most of the other Pro Bodybuilder. If he can come between 95-100 % at the Arnolds he can win. But IŽll predict a close competition between Phil, Dexter, and Melvin. Dexter is always good/very good, "but" where is the progress ? The last 3 Years he`s pretty much the same good Bodybuilder. And after a while even the Judges get bored, because they are looking for real visiable improvements. Phil Heath made improvements, and also Melvin Anthony who made in the last 2 Years two steps forward to be a Top-Level-Pro. Just my opion....it will be an interesting AC this Year.

Melvin looked ready. His back was bigger and drier than ever. It all comes down to hams and glutes, it shouldn't, but it does. Dexter, Phil and Kai all have those shredded glutes and Melvin doesn't. The judges fall in love with that.

Phil is incredible and will be a serious contender and I think has a great chance win----but people forget how impressive Dexter truly is Many people will see how really good Dexter is when he stands next to Phil and more than holds his own. as for Melvin----the conditioning just isnt there to stand next to Dexter or Phil

Just giving an unbiased assessment based on the photos i've seen. I like Melvin, but won't say he is better than he is. Of course, he might be able to bring it on for the show, but I doubt he will be able to crack the top 3.

Phil and Melvin have similar physiques... bu Phil comes in top condition at each show. If Phil duplicates his IronMan condition and Melvin comes in as he usually does (not as sharp as Phil), Phil will edge him out.

I dont see the similarites at all the only thing I see is Phill using a lot of igf and growing very rapidly I think this year will be his year but its only a matter of time before his stomach starts producing a baby

Will Kia have his grapefruit with him at the Arnold? I don't think so. I put him 4th, with Phil, dexter and Kia ahead of him.

lol melvin.......
melvin has potential but he can never get his condition right.....
its dex and phil and wolf (if hes doing it) then kai and melvin fighting for 3rd and 4th or 4th and 5th depending on wolf showing up at the arnold..
also if welllllllllllll actualll big toney will prob be in condition now for the arnold so hes in top 3maybe the winner
so mix toney in ther and theres a few other guys that could sort melvin out if his condition is off
