Way too many 20 perfect scores were given away in each round. There should be no more than 7 X 20 scores in each round.

Round 1............14 X 20 points among 7 contestants
Round 2............20 X 20 points among 8 contestants
Round 3............25 X 20 points among 10 contestants

Total ...............59 X 20 points among 10 contestants

The contestants who received perfect 20 scores per round are:

Arnold 5  6  2  = 13 plus 5 in posedown
Chris   2  3  5  = 10 plus 2 in posedown
Frank  3  3  3  =  9
Boyer  0  2  3  =  5
Mike    1  2  2  =  5
Roger  1  2  1  =  5
Roy     1  1  3  =  5
Dennis 1  1  1  =  3
Ed       0  0  4  =  4
Samir   0  0  1  =  1

Interestingly the number of 20 scores correlates well with the placings. Except for Ed Corney who was rewarded for his posing ability in round 3. It is obvious that there is a case to be made for any of the top 7 guys to be thought the best there.

Clearly this proves that the selection and training of judges is extemely important. Also, there should be a method to make sure this sort of scoring doesn't happen again. The head judge could have tallied the scores after the first competitor presented in each round and made sure this score was modified to allow for higher placings. Perhaps they should have been able to give half points to separate close competitors.
