Yep.

The Republican's thought they needed to help the little wanker.

So they made sure their oldest, most pro-war bloke would be the candidate.

Just so it wouldn't be any question.

Who knows, maybe even the nut jobs will keep Ron Paul in it, just to keep it a shoe-in for Barrack.

Stick to the G&O threads. You don't have a clue what you're talking about here.

hard to argue against this...

romney or rudy would have beaten up on Obama a lot.  Why would the repubs choose to giftwrap this election by putting on the oldest guy with the most unpopular opinion?

Rudy would've owned Obama so bad it wouldn't be even funny.

Romney would win as well, IMO.

But McCain?

Looking at the election, you'd think the Republicans are trying to give it to Obama.

The only guy who could not use experience against Obama, is McCain, because that would put his age in play.

I cry conspiracy!!! ;D

I will have to vote for McCain...but I would have prefered Romney as I think he would have been more economically responsible. I'm not thrilled with my choices. I'm absolutely opposed to Obama. I think he's dangerous.
