All the really big guys look like then when they are showing off their backs. That particular pic is from a vantage point that fans (in the audience) rarely if ever see; when showing off the back you rarely get to see the front.
When I was new to bodybuilding I, like most people, looked at the particular muscle group on display--the ones being flexed. Over time though., I started to notice and pay attention to the other muscles--the ones not being flexed. Now, the shape and condition of the muscle group not being shown off is as interesting to me as the group that is being shown off.
If a bodybuildinger is hitting a leg shot, what do his tricieps look like? When his arms or chest are being shown off, what do his calves look like? I always look for this now... the muscles that are not necessarily meant to be looked at when a given pose is hit.
