I'm guessing this is a #1 contender match, even though Werdum was supposed to get the next shot at the title, could be interesting.  Discuss

I guess this is a good indication that Andrei Arlovski is on his way out considering he has won his last two fights and he recently beat Werdum and is not getting a title shot.  Vera lost to Sylvia so I don't understand how he is being reshuffled into the heavy weight deck at such a high position.    The UFC is pretty convoluted when it comes to choosing contenders.

after watching Vera & Sylvia a couple months ago I'm thinkin Brandon's better suited at 205......

well he used to ko people maybe he still can but it wont be against werdum who never been koed so i dont like that matchup much might be a sleeping pill

Vera has finished 6 of his last 7 fights ( 3Tko's 2 Ko's and 1 sub). He's boring to people who don't know shit from shineola.  So I could see why you would think he was boring.

I like Vera.  Except for his last fight with Tim, they've all been exciting.  I think he can take Werdum and get back into title contention.
