I wouldn't say I'm a "Team Nasser" member but I do think he's a good guy and I know some stuff about him through my cousin so I like to contribute what I know sometimes.
About other past winners not having a problem with the invitation, like Goatboy said, the vast majority of them were going to attend the show anyway as they are still connected to the industry. Nasser hasnt attended shows for years. So when considering how many of the others had a problem with the invitation or not, its only fair to say that Nasser didnt like the invitation while maybe 1 or 2 others didn't have a problem with it.
Your cousin should be posting on behalf of himself....S'chumps, you're another Babs.
.....Nasser needed to be at the ASC to publicize his tell-all book. So, it's quite surprising that he would not jump at the chance to attend, so suddenly; with a free airfare that was already dealt with on air. The majority of his market target, to sell his book to was there in person with disposable cash. Nasser is a very bad businessman to not show at the last minute. He lost hundreds of thousands in book sales/revenues, maybe millions. I doubt anyone with a strong business sense would allow an "informal invitation" and the cost of airfare and accommodation out of his own pocket, stop them from making tons of cash in the end? He must be real stupid!! Furthermore, Babs (Nasser's main GB correspondent) is completely uninformed about the sudden absence; and is quite disoriented with his defense strategy. It is a bit suspicious isn't it?
So now the only way of advertising Nasser must undertake is networking through door-to-door and word-of-mouth. He could can successfully do this in two ways:
-by selling Avon and pushing his book.
-having a similar party to a Lengerie Party; but with you guessed it with (all together) "worn underwear" party" to sleeper cells; include a book-signing to open the party.
