gotta hand it to him he still looks great for his age, i think he's one of those guys that will always look good. Or at least be like Arnold, Zane, Draper and all those guys and always be about a 4 or 6 week diet away from looking fantastic until he's about 70 somethin years old.

His prime was a little after that, he had great seasons in Dallas and Minn. he has nothing to do with MAA. he was a man beast at Georgia. the only player i have seen that could have played in the nfl as a freshman in college. he also made a bunch of money investing in property if i remember correctly from Inside the NFL..

Adrian got put out of commision by a college hit, probably by someone who didnt even get drafted, imagine what would have happened if Adrian took a hit by an nfl'er at 18. no offense to Adrian he should be a good/possibly great rb if he stays healthy. Walker was a beast in college top 5 all time probably.

My mistake, make that no. 1 according to ESPN. He was truely a man amongst boys. i was too young to see him play in college though but the film i see of him is amazing. OJ was amazing to in college and the nfl, to bad he f*cked it up.

He was a stud who was an explosive north/south runner.  If you thought he was the chit, Bo was everything Herschel was with the ability to change gears and cut back.

Wrong. 1982 was his last year in college, where numerous ppl have named him the greatest running back of all time. His value was never higher than at that moment. He had a few good years in Dallas, and then got traded to Minnesota in their worst move of all time. He was an absolute bust for what they gave up.

*ah this guy cracks me up*
stating that the trade accepted by Minn was a bust is not breaking news detective...yes in regards to that trade Minn got screwed, did i say other wise?
my point was he was dominant in college and had a  very successful NFL career.

Wrong Again. I hate to mess with your fragile ego. but his prime was in 82' he had a slightly above average career as an NFL running back (and basically a god in college) I think maybe one flash in the pan season and few other decent ones. Try to make your "points" a little more concise. About the Minnesota trade, yes everyone knows about that and I wasn't trying to "break the news".

facts are a bitch arent they..

-H.W gained 18,168 total net yards placing him 2nd at the time of his retirement, 11 years after his retirement he still places in the top ten.

-he is the only player to have 10,000 yards from scrimmage and 5,000 yards in punt returns.

-he is the only player to gain 4,000 yards 3 different ways; rushing, receiving, and kick returns

-he is 1 of 6 players  ( Jim Brown, Lenny Moore, Marcus Allen, Marshall Faulk, and Thurman Thomas) to exceed 60 td's rushing and 20 td's receiving

try to have a clue of what youre talking about without putting your foot in your mouth  ;)

Strong stats I agree. And being a Cowboy fan my entire life Herschel was electric on special teams (my favorite all time return man on the team and I was pissed that Jerry let him go while he still had something left), but he is the ALL TIME GREATEST COLLEGE RUNNING BACK. Herschel is not even in the NFL hall of fame. So you can cut and paste all the stats you want to but it is going to be hard to top that. I don't have to dig up any college stats or tell you about how he led Georgia to a national championship because its not necessary, six simple words.... ALL TIME GREATEST COLLEGE RUNNING BACK.

back to my case in point he was dominant in college and had a great nfl career as his stats prove. he had a great career regardless if he isnt in the hof.

didn't he play several yrs in the usfl before going to the nfl. if not mistaken he signed a mega mil contract w/ usfl

Herschel was a beast, even in high school. had the pleasure to play in a high school all star game  w/ him, talk about someone being dominant, hell even back then he was about as big as some of the linemen.

what the hell is he doing in mma- is he actually wanting to fight or is he a spokesman or something
i know he was above avg. h.s. wrestler but this sport has evolved way beyond that

he's got tons of money still, just recently saw something on him talking about how his investments and his post nfl retirement plan has him set. from the article it indicated he was the one who set all this up not some financial adviser

don't get what he's doing w/ mma

I think i read that he will be participating in an mma reality show with some other retired athletes or famous people and at the end of the show they will have a fight or something. he isnt going to join an actual organization i hope, that would be stupid. as far as being a pure athlete it doesnt get much better than him. wasnt he almost on the US Olympic track team or something also?
as far as his finances, yeah i read that he did really well with his invesments and im sure Donald Trump paid him well back in his USFL days.
