What exactly is Bioperine?

It is one of the ingredients in a liquid fat burner I have and will be using towards the end of my diet. The others are

Synephrine HCL
Synthetic 99% Guggelsterones Z&E
Yohimbine HCL
Caffeine
Bioperine*

Bioperine is essentially black pepper. In supplements it tends to lengthen the time it takes to metabolize whatever it is in. Should be cautious when taking it with meds.
