Benadryl is harmless and will make you sleepy due to the anti-histamine sides.

I'm happy to see the "baby Arnold" tag is catching on.

I wouldn't recommend the Benadryl.  I read somewhere that a pill before bed can help get rid of AAS related acne.  It might have helped a little but it dried my throat out and I tons of phlem in the back of it all the time.  It was like I was sick almost or something, it sucked.  I'd try Nyquil or if you can get a prescription of Ambian.

Benadryl is safe and effective, and will not in any way interact with your AAS.

Good luck with your show.

benadryl is a horrible choice as a chronic sleep aid. its H1 antagonism and as an amine it crosses the BBB quite easily causing sedation.

however, it reduces latency to stage 4 sleep and duration of this stage (REM) which will leave you feeling tired in the morning.

you could try high dose glycine and taurine.

as well as some non addictive sleep aids.

Just becareful too much of it tends to keep me awake.

One time I went to the hospital with hives. They gave me 300mg of benadryl in an IV & I feel asleep for fifteen minutes & then worke up wired. I ended up staying up all night.  :-\

it has down stream effects on other neuropeptides like noepinehrine etc.. which may have caused the issue, but that is a weird reaction ;D.

Your telling me. I got the shot at midnight & the hives went away within an hour. They then wouldn't let me leave until 6:00AM.

I use Benadryl for sleep sometimes, and Rimmy is correct sometimes if I take more than one I dont sleep good at all. One pill will just make me nice and drowsy so I sleep very good. If I can slep a whole 7-8 hours I wake up feeling very rested. If I cant get enough sleep I will wake up feeling like I have a benny hangover, but this passes quickly.

It works very well at getting rid of acne. in fact, it worked better than 50mg of Accutane for me.
