That isn't too difficult but will take practice.
i used to do "flying" pullups where i would pull as hard as a could and launch myself up to where my waist was almost level with the pull up bar and then catch myself on the way down. it took me a few months to be able to do this at 230 pounds. once i got the hang of it i started doing them in the power cage using the rectangle box edge as the pull up bar, so i was doing them with my hands on a flat edge. this actually made my hands and forearms strong as hell. i do recommend using chalk when doing them on a flat box edge, as you can bust your ass very easily.
