FIRST LOOK!!! Liev Schreiber as Sabertooth!!!

Spy photos from the set of X-Men Origins: Wolverine are making their way to the Interwebs. JustJared.com has the first shots of Liev Schreiber as Wolverine's nemesis Victor Creed, a.k.a. Sabretooth.

If these photos are any indication, Lee Press-On Nails will be paying a hefty product placement fee.

In addition to to Schreiber, Hugh Jackman (Logan a.k.a. Wolverine) can also be seen on set in army fatigues. Presumably, this is part of the Weapon X story line from the comics. Sabretooth and Wolverine served together as supersoldiers.

The character of Sabretooth was played by Tyler Mane in the first X-Men movie.

Along for the ride in X-Men Origins: Wolverine reportedly are Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Kevin Durand (The Blob), Dominic Monaghan (Beak), Lynn Collins (Silver Fox), and Taylor Kitsch (Gambit). Yes, fan favorite Remy LeBeau, a.k.a. Gambit, will finally make his way into an X-Men movie. Gavin Hood (Tsotsi, Rendition) is directing.

wolverine is one of my favourite characters.

Since I don't know the story yet. I hope it's a darker version than being something for kids.

Liev is a good actor but a bad choice to play Sabertooth!  Bah!  Doom disapproves.

Yeah, he only has an inch on Jackman (6'3" to 6'2").

But still very excited about this. I don't know how they plan to work in Gambit since he's not part of Weapon X Program like say...Deadpool.

A cameo is fine, but don't overdue it just to have him in the movie.

Gambit teamed up with canucklehead quite a few times. They may be playing off that.

Now this is something that would make a great movie

X-Force is a covert strike force that secretly operates from within the X-Men. Created by Cyclops and led by Wolverine - X Force was formed to KILL whoever they were sent after. Thats right -  no mercy, no mutant jails, etc. Cold blooded Assassination baby. Mess with the best-Die like the rest.

Assigned to jobs too dirty, too dangerous for regular Xmen. The existence of the team is know only to a select few. The team is led by Wolverine
The other members are Warpath,Wolfsbane and X-23. The Marvel.com comic store describes the first issue as "There are lines that the X-Men have sworn never to cross. But after the shocking events of “Messiah Complex,” Cyclops realizes that some enemies need to be dealt with permanently… and the X-Men can never know about it".
