Many stupid laws in this ("free") country. Why is prostitution illegal? Does it kill or harm anybody?I think we should learn from the Dutch, the Germans, and the Spaniards.
Why is high-priced, escort-like prostitution illegal? It's not like you have disease-ridden, drug-addict skanks walking the streets with their pimps and decreasing quality of life. It's like ordering a pizza (or herpes) from Dominoes. No big deal. If you have disposable cash, you have disposable hookers (and a disposable marriage!)
Until it is made legal our opinions don't mean much. Bottom line, an elected official who built his rep on being tough on crime was caught committing an illegal act. The end. He MUST resign or they will prosecute him for bringing a hooker across state lines. By the by, the difference between a hunts point hooker and an "upscale call girl" is better make up, better clothing and a bit more being attractive. THAT IS ALL! A bit too much "Upscale call girl" dick sucking in some of these replies. A ho is a ho. The only thing that's puzzling about prostitution is trying to figure out why it's necessary. With some many super horny women out there itching to get laid, why would you have to pay for it?
Unfortunately unintelligent people can't distinguish the street level, pimp led prostitution rings (which are the result of prohibition I should add), to the high end, classy, and safe prostitution rings like this one (which are also the result of prohibition).
hard to draw the line.are you saying that rich people should be able to bang hotties in hotel rooms for $4000 per hour...but poor people shouldn't be able to bang a girl with a busted grille in a motel 6 for $150 a night?
Who actually pays $150-$4000 for a hooker? I'm going to go take my anger out on any hooker I see walking the street.
Who actually pays $150-$4000 for a hooker?
He wasn't involved in any prostitution 'ring'. The people involved in the 'ring' are the ones who were profiting from it (not that there's anything wrong with that). Like most, he was just another trick and there should be no crime against paying for booty.
Client #9, supposedly the governor, spent $4300 for an hour with this girl.I don't know what low-end hookers go for. $150 was a best guess?
he'll never be charged.but it likely just cost him a run at the presidency.
They have to charge him now that he's been outed.
nah, they say he's likely working out a deal to resign IF they agree not to press charges. They'll take it.
why would a republican AG not prosecute a democrat that was at one time dubbed a future pres. candidate. especially during an election year.
not quite. spitzer is accused of violating the Mann Act. it bans the interstate transport of females for “immoral purposes.” its primary stated intent was to address prostitution, immorality, and human trafficking.
