Tom trained at the original World Gym back in the early 80's when I was there. I remember there was this girl who would occasionally come to the gym and she could make any garment (shirts, pants, jackets etc.) that you wanted. She would take your measurements and you could look through catalogs she had and pick out anything you wanted made and she would make them to your specs. You could pick out any designer name and she would make it exactly like that out of the same material and everything. If I recall right it was $20 for a shirt and $25 for pants or something like that. But that was cool.

That's pretty cool. I can't imagine having wheels the size of Tom's and trying to find pants to fit them in.....

Me neither. I've only seen pictures and a few videos but Platz legs are still something else. They're big and balanced at the same time. Branch Warren could be a good runner-up.

I think Paul DeMayo is in the same league.

Better than Tom?? No, but in the same boat.

Pay special attention to seconds 20-60....... These can hang with Platz any day of the week.
