Yates was the greatest Mr. Olympia of all-times regarding the physique he presented at his best.

He was concerned about the way Yates was carrying himself on official Mr Olympia business, if you have evey spoken to Yates you would
know that he doesn't give the apearance of a very inteligent man (what could be misleading of course) furthermore he had an issue with
the way Yates was dressing, he was rightly under the impression that a MR O, the so called best of the best should also show his status in public.
And last but not least he did not apreachiate Yates taken the Award and not trying his all best to further the sport, there was litterlay no help from Yates to mainstream Bodybuilding.

i think the key here if we (well, pros and top level npc guys) want to help bbing out alot more is to take these guidelines and expand on them by being extroverted and forthcoming with promoting urself and the sport to the masses in an intelligent and funny manner, as arnold would and did do whenever he was given the medium to do so. but that will probably never happen...

Yates wasn't racist - his best friend at the time all that shit was going down was a black guy they all jokingly called "Choc" - they knew they were being typecast as racists and they played on it.

Yates had no interest in pursuing the Hollywood lifestyle that Arnold aspired to - it just wasn't him and I don't blame him.
Back in Arnold's day you could get away with sitting in front of a TV interviewer and spouting off about how you took steroids in the past - they were legal back then.

Dorian could never appear on TV in the States or anywhere else and face the drug question and neither could any other bodybuilder from the 90's and onwards. It's no wonder he didn't want the attention - that would be the first question out of the interviewer's mouth. You wouldn't be able to act today like Arnold did back in the seventies - people would think you were a dickhead.

Coleman doesn't even know the physiological effects of some of the vitamins he takes. God can only imagine him with all the other drugs

There may be some truth to this.  There are racist skins and SHARPs. Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice.  Either way, everyone was a kid once. Plus wasn't his wife a little dark looking? A true skin would marry someone darker than him.

Dorian should have made himself a little more marketable.  It probably would have helped his ever so popular supplement brand take off and he wouldn't have to work in his retirement.  Who know Ronnie Coleman could be pushing Bowflexes next in the future.
