Bush on TV pushing that wiretapping again
« on: March 13, 2008, 06:30:15 AM »
He's been trying to attach this little piece of legislation to everything.  They tried to stick it onto a mental health bill yesterday!

It all comes down to one thing... Bush wants any company that handed over wiretaps - legal or illegal - given full pardon for all of their crimes.  After all, a WARRANT is required before you can tap people.  Bush may have tapped a lot of people WITHOUT a warrant.  The companies want protection.  peolpe who support the constitution would like to be able to presoecute/sue those who broke federal law.

The info is going to come out.  Bush is trying to give everyone a 100% pardon so no one can do anything when the full scope of these abuses comes to light.
