In bodybuilding all things being equal Bigger = Better
all the good/great short guys you mentioned never won the Mr Olympia (Priest,Ray,Labrada, etc etc)
quite frankly short bodybuilders have an easier time filling out there frame (Altho why MattT is "legless" at "5 ft 5" is beyond me..............i suspect extreme laziness)
facts are the facts go to any NPC or Nationals show and there are dozens of good/great smaller/shorter bodybuilders (like i stated the middleweights and lightheavyweights are "littered" with them)
not going to do anything in the pro-ranks (a guy like Trey or Evan Centopani get's so much hype because they are a bigger/taller/freakier bodybuilder )
hell when i saw the Matt T pictures from the Arnold expo i had to laugh.........he was so tiny/short even standing next to chicks!
freaks like DEmayo,Yates,Coleman,cutler,Haney,("5 ft" 10 seems to be about the pefect height for bodybuilding) people don't want to pay there money to go to a Pro-Show and see a guy they could see in any gym U S A ..............they wanna see the freaks (240 -250 lbs and up)
bodybuilding (sadly at times) is a FREAK show...............that is why Trey Brewer has IMO a great future as a pro bb.....if Trey had stayed the same size or slightly bigger than his "teen" pics you wouldn't even know his name
it is what it is................(it's not a sport for dwarfs)
