I' know this guy who is an extreme athlete.  Last year he set a world record by paddle boarding the entire length of the California coast (1,250) to help raise money for plastic pollution in the ocean.  Before that he ran 120 marathons in 120 consecutive days from Los Angeles to New York City for Child Abuse.  This year he will run then bike then paddle board around the island of Oahu.  He trains with Laird Hamilton a lot (that was the connection).  He was telling me of a guy he met in Hawaii who last year surfed Jaws at a contest.  The prize was $1,000 per foot of the size of the wave.  He won a check for $65,000.00  That is a huge wave.  That guy was also a friend of mine who bought my Jeep off me before I moved back to the mainland.  If you haven't seen big waves before, save your money and go to Hawaii for a couple weeks in the winter.  Plan on walking a long ways to the beach cause the roads are packed with people watching the waves.  Unreal  No I am not name dropping that is why I did not put down any names and NO I do not know Laird Hamilton

There's a big shelf off the coast of Cali where these waves break, I can't for the life of me remember the name of it right now but that's where this was shot.  These 60-70 foot waves break in the middle of the ocean off a shelf there.  They're so big the guys have to get towed in by the runners on the sleds.  Pretty crazy shit.  Lot of guys have died out there trying to surf it.

haole  And Yes Laird is a badass and his wife is Gabriel Reese.  The friend I was talking about is Dan Moore.  He helped create the tow-in surfing like the one in the video.  He has an awesome poster size photo of him towing-in Mark Foo many years ago,

Well what happened was my camera was working fine, but the guy who was video recording the whole thing didnt make it out of the wave alive.   The camera was never found, I believe it was eaten by a great white.  Trust me though, I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can your supermodel harem that was watching from a beachside orgy attest to this feat?
