Vitamin Shoppe settles class-action lawsuit

According to the website ConsumerLab.com, The Vitamin Shoppe settled a class-action lawsuit stemming from a finding of lead contamination in their product "The Vitamin Shoppe — Multivitamins Especially for Women". The Vitamin Shoppe agreed to refund the purchase price or issue a store credit of 125% of the purchase price. In addition, for the next two years, it will require suppliers of its private label products to perform quality control testing and reporting.
