Samsung Blu Ray Player

All my other equipment is Samsung so i wanted to run with it.  Im hearing good things about the samsung 1200 and 1400 Blu Ray players.  You all have any advise?

Out of the 5 samsung products (3 TVs and 2 DVD players) we have owned within the last 5 or so years we have had problems with 3 of them (a TV and 2 DVD players).


Our Blu Ray Player is a PlayStation 3 which we don't use for gaming but some day we might.  Kind of a 2 for one thing.

I'd also suggest a PS3 as its ability to update the BD-ROM firmware makes it future proof for when the Blu ray standard updates.

From what i've read, the PS3 is pretty much the best player on the market.
