To the neocons on Iran

Look, Iraq didn't do anything to us, and you were okay with bombing them.  Fair enough.

But according to many in the military, Iran actually HAS been working to get our troops killed.  They deserve to have a couple hundred missiles dropped on their asses way more than saddam did.

So the next time you want to cheer for a war in Iran, please, don't use that tired, perhaps-misquoted line from adhmedijanad about wiping us off the map... supposedly he only said it once, supposedly it is a loose translation, and if an outspoken leader REALLY felt that way, we would be hearing it from him every 5 minutes, not "maybe once, a few years ago in a speech we can't translate".

Bottom line - if they're killing our troops, they should be bombed.  It's that simple.  Don't tell us about "how they feel" or 'what they want to do" because half the countries in the world probably hate us.  Tell us what they did - kill our forces - and a lot mroe folks will support bombing them.

Well, I'm hoping the decision makers would take that into account of course.  if they were going to take out iran, I think they would have done it last march when we had them completely surrounded and the UK sent those 15 kids into iranian waters, they got captured, etc.  While it still gives the far-right base a boner everytime mccain says 'iran', in realisty I think Bush would have done it last year.  Who knows though.
