Arnolds always hated his accent.....one thing he couldnt conquer in his life... 
I disagree, I don't think there is anything that Arnold has ever hated about himself. However, Arnold does have an issue with people that try and make him the bunt of a joke, I think he probably would have torn that guy up (with his wit) but being in his position it's probably not the most politically correct thing to do anymore, furthermore he probably figured it was not worth tearing up a nobody, as his ego is much bigger than that, and so is he.
