Health/Heart Risks of Fatburner...
« on: March 24, 2008, 05:05:14 AM »
About a week ago I began using Nutrex Lipo 6, on a 2 days on, one day off scheme.

I don't know if I am just imagining it but the days I take it I always notice a tightness in my chest.

Obviously it is not 'healthy' but how high are the risks if I continue taking it for a full month on the 2 on, 1 off scheme?

Should I just discontinue using it?

What are your experiences with fatburners....as I am 30 (not THAT young) I am a little worried...

Cheers...

actually i dont think there is anything 'unhealthy" about taking that product..    its caffiene, synephrine, gugglesterones, some yohimbe and oleic and linoleic acid.   i would worry only about the gugglesterones, ...there have been some studies that show they bind to androgen recpetors and lower the amount of free- t you have..

other than that, the lipo 6 should be very good, especially since you are in ketosis..      it should clear out your blood stream of ffa's real quick,..

I wouldn't advise using them, before your workout, if you train in the evening. I did that and I couldn't sleep to save my life. I can't really give you any feedback on Lipo 6, as I've never used that one.

If, and I repeat, IF you feel anything funny with your heart.....STOP using the product.

Since the ma-huang/ephedra ban, I haven't really heard of anybody having any major issues with fat-burners, although on supplementjudge.com, the biggest complaint about one such product, Hydroxycut Hardcore, is that the dye was turning their feces RED.

Just 2 in the early morning and 2 in the early afternoon.

Cut the dose in half and see how you feel.

concentrations of caff might be making you do the pitter patter.

When I took eca, my heart did all sorts of new beats... freaked me out... i went to the doc, got an EKG I was so worried... nothing wrong of course... ECA will make you jumpy and get the ticker bouncing.

everybody is different. because ephedrine and caffiene dont sdo shit to me. i can take 100 mg ephedrine 400 mg caffiene and it just wakes me up.. i get the same effect from 25 mg ephedrine and 100-200mg caffiene...so i always stick to the lower doeses beause its cheaper that way.

debussey..i know what you mean...im growing right now, but i still take green tea+fish oil in between meals so i stay lean

you know your metabolic markers? chol, triglycerides, bp?

could be agina, which is not something to fuck with.

why dont you try HEAT from avant labs, caffiene and ephedrine free and a much much better company then nutrex, although i like lipo-6.

heat would work better imo.

they are safe unless you have heart or adrenal issues. to be honest with all the stress your under i wouldnt risk it as your adrenals are pumping out much catecholamines and your elevating them through exogenous means equals more stress and less sleep and more weight gain.

plus the chest pain is not a good sign.

I can't even take any caffein and as far as fat burners is concerned, my choice goes to carnitine, not only it stimulates the use of fat, as it also improves sperm quality, thus incresing your T-Levels. But the best thing about carnitine is that it doesn't mess with your heart, and I know what i am talking about. Other than that are substances that have as primary goal incerase your heart beats and act as diuretics...
