i'm thinking new rock that doesn't suck.  hard to find.

new rap sucks.  i play a lot of 50 cent, wyclef, and of course jay-z.   some pac when i can stomach it.

rock music is so blah lately.

I don't think there is new Hard Rock that doesn't suck.

Better off looking for old Rock that you don't know about

The newer BLS "Shot to Hell" is great and I also like the new Alterbridge "Blackbird" has some real good progressively heavier tunes good for training.

Rap music and dance music in the gym is for fags.

Here's some of my favorites (in no particular order):

Drowning Pool - Sinner
Rammstein - Mutter
Metallica - Metallica
Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
AC/DC - The Razor's Edge

Yeah I concede that dance is good for cardio but I assumed 240 is talking about training with weights. You can only weight-train to metal.

PS - I very rarely do cardio.  :-\
