great upper body,legs were pretty hard and seperated.little light on leg mass and side ham mass,but he was a def top 5 guy for few yrs.chest/delt/trap tie in amongst the best going.

I honestly think Dennis James' coming in slightly off so consistently is caused by nothing more than a self fulfilling prophecy. If you listen to him in virtually any DVD footage you will see his lack of confidence in being able to peak on time. I think these negative feelings quite literally manifest in physical factors which directly result in missing his peak. I think he should just tell himself that there is no reason he can't peak on time and I would say he would start doing it.

Also, it should be noted that gym pictures after 30 sets where he upper body is completely pumped up are a little different from stage pictures where the pump is gone and the lighting is totally different.

thats funny becaus eon the bfto2003 he is very confiedent about his conditioning and says he is going to come in " shredddeedddd" (hella funny dude)

and that is the year he actually DOES come in shredded

I kinda group him in with Branch Warren these days. I thought he was great back then but now I just think he's done some things to his physique that have ruined it. The detail is gone for the most part, abs are gross cause his belly is all destended and that split down the middle is just sick. He tried to play Ronnie's game but just can't carry the size the way Ron did.

oh well, he does have the funniest training vid of all time with that old man yelling at him the whole time...what's the name of that one again? it's great.

Pretty much sums it up. Maybe the best "Ronnie Coleman wannabe" for bad reasons however as he looked amazing on these pics. He destroyed his physique. The only strange thing is that his lats look completely different in the front poses compared to the back shots. From the front, he lookes like having pretty high lats whereas on the back shots they seem to insert pretty low.
