RAMPAGE JACKSON: "I KNOW FORREST GETS KNOCKED OUT AT PRACTICE SOMETIMES"

"I did not say Forrest Weakchin and Wanderlei Chump Murderer. I did not say those words, but I said along the lines that Forrest probably does…I know inside stuff that people don't know. I know Forrest gets knocked out at practice sometimes; I know Jardine knocked him out real quick," stated UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as he clarifies his recent comments regarding Forrest Griffin and Wanderlei Silva. Check out what else he had to say as he shares his disappointment in fans who "nitpick about every lil' damn thing we do."
PC: I told you how the fans are being really hard on you for comments that you supposedly made about Wanderlei and Forrest. I say supposedly because I didn't read the interviews. How have you been doing man? You don't even have to address that if you don't want to.
RJ: I'll say something about it because it's stupid. Let's talk bad about them stupid ass people; put them on blast.
PC: It was comments about Forrest having a weak chin and you calling Wanderlei "The Chump" Murderer.
RJ: I didn't call Wanderlei no damn "Chump Murderer." Put this in the…are you doing the interview right now?
PC: Yeah, we've started already.
RJ: This is exactly what I said…so what if I said Forrest got a weak chin. I'm going to prove what I said; I ain't talking bad about him. People know about my weaknesses. I've fought Wanderlei twice and I've seen his fight tapes. Most of the people that he fought early in his career, nobody knew who the hell they were. Nobody still don't know who they are because they don't even fight no more and that's why they called him that because he was murdering folks. It ain't nothing wrong with that. I just say that's why he got a strong confidence because he was fighting a bunch of nobodies and building up his record. I've said this before. Anybody that's going to lose respect for me for stating the obvious, you guys need to (laughing) need to grow up. Go back to school. You know, when Monday comes, go to school on Monday and handle your lil' school work. I know ya'll probably in 2nd grade so grow up and quit getting mad because I'm stating the obvious about a fighter. I ain't say nothing bad about nobody. If somebody got a weak chin, they got a weak chin, you know what I mean?
PC: The main thing is that this is the fight business; you're in the fight business.
RJ: Exactly! I'm in the fight business; this is not tennis. I ain't talking bad about nobody. I didn't call him "Forrest Weakchin." If anything, I said I'm fighting Forrest Whitaker. I didn't call Wanderlei the "Chump Murderer." I ain't never said nothing like that. That is kind of disrespectful. I just said he was fighting chumps. If people want to put words in my mouth, they need to grow the hell up. I don't care nothing about some fans getting mad because I'm being a fighter.
PC: That's what's up with that man. I just wanted to let you say your peace on that whole situation because they were slamming you on the message boards. How did you like taping the show "The Ultimate Fighter 7"?
RJ: It was a lot of work. Are you recording this so it can be word for word what I say?
PC: Yeah, it's going to be word for word. I go straight from the audio tape onto the computer. I'll even throw in your burps.
RJ: Alright! Yeah, but the show was a lot of work; a lot of hours.
PC: You looking forward to the fight with Forrest man?
RJ: Yeah, I'm looking way forward to it. I look forward to all of my fights.
PC: I know this is a long layoff for you. Have you been training?
RJ: Yeah, I've been doing a little something. I ain't been training much. I needed a break so I took a break.
PC: What did you think about Anderson Silva's fight with Dan Henderson?
RJ: That was a good fight. Dan Henderson did what he had to do in the 1st round, but then Anderson Silva can adapt real good. He adapted to Dan Henderson's game in the 2nd round and showed you what a phenomenal fighter he is.
PC: I won't hold you up any longer. I know you're spending time with your kids man. I appreciate your time.
RJ: Yeah, yeah. Just tell the fans out there that want to nitpick bout every lil' thang somebody say that I'm the type of fighter that is going to jump around and have fun with the sport; I'm not like these other fighters. I respect every fighter that gets in that cage. If somebody said something about me like that, I wouldn't even get mad; it's good. It helps hype up the fight. We in the fight business and we want people to go and buy the fight. I like Forrest, but I ain't got to talk sweet to him and hug up on him every time I see him. I can say whatever I want. I am in America and part of being in America is that we have freedom of speech, but I did not say Forrest Weakchin and Wanderlei Chump Murderer. I know Forrest gets knocked out at practice sometimes; I know Jardine knocked him out real quick and I know my boy "Sick Dog" almost knocked him out and he wasn't really even punching. "Sick Dog" was gunshy because he had just lost to James Irvin and he had almost knocked Forrest out. He had Forrest wobbly. In what I do, we call that a weak chin. You can tell the fans I lost respect for them because they nitpicking about every damn thang. People always trying to find something to hate on me about. Tell all of the fans that Rampage…at the end of the message, tell all of the fans that nitpick about every lil' damn thing we do to grow the hell up.
