Actually i dont really think jay will come in much heavier at all. He'll try and come in as ripped (lol) as possible. He doesnt need more mass on his frame, he needs better conditioning. But you raise an interesting point...

i think last year was a wake up call for him after seeing so many people talking shit about him in all the mags and message boards. i know i wouldn't want that much shit being spoken about me..

I'm sure win or lose he'll probably retire. When you don't need the money and you're well into your thirties the sport has probably lost a lot of it's appeal. It's such an all consuming life style and just having to walk around at nearly 300 lbs has got to take it's toll. He'll probably give it his all this time to earn back credibility and will strive for conditioning rather than size. He's plenty big.

All jay has to do is come in more shredded than last year and he will ride off into the sunset with sandow no. 3. Ive come to my senses and realised a guy liek Wolf will not win it this year, Jays is the most complete and largest competitior on stage (maybe not the most asthetically pleasing) But the Olympia criteria favours the larger man. The realy battle will be places 2-6....How will Wolf vs Dexter vs Phil pan out? Will Vic compete? Sure ther eis going to be sh** storm jsut like last year over the placings, However assuming Jay retires this year, 2009 will be the most anticipated Olympia in a LONG time! 

(I much prefer a Wolf or Dexter physique, but im being REALISTIC)

still 3 olympias if he nails it and three 2nds is a great run .2001-06 was his peak and even 03-05 was all around condition,with mass and shape,arms are just thickish now,back wide but soft.he has too go all out this time on conditioning.

You know, Wolf's really gonna need to be sharper from the back for his next show.  If he accomplishes that he will do well.  That's what they're gonna be looking for him to improve upon.

But look at it from the front. He's so far ahead it's stupid. This isn't Dorian vs Nasser where Dorian destroyed him from the back, it is closer from the back and no contest from the front.

but cutler looks from a density standpoint thicker than wolf,wolf was sharper in terms of his condition,but if tries to out size cutler he could blow his spot.legs size not close due to cutler shorter legs and from rear cutlers hams are wider and fuller.thats not easily done in 1 year to catch up to jay.arms,delts,traps,wolf stands up well but its cutler he has to catch.
