Some asshole did it to me early this morning. Kind of a long story, he was doing it to be funny
(he was also wrapping the barrel with a towel and shooting his mattress, which I didn't go see cuz I am not redeck), cuz he and I get along just fine normally, but I missed the humor myself. Spent the morning in the hospital, thought I was going to lose my hearing in my left ear, but its coming back slowly. I should have known better than to go over to a fat, crazy hilbiliies house/apartment. At first after he shot it, I was like "wtf" several times and he said something to the effect "I can do whatever I want in my house", my ear was bleeding and some chick was cleaning me up, so I was in way too much pain to do anything, besides he had a gun
So my buddy started driving me to the hospital and "shooter" called me to try to explain, basically trying to talk me out of going to the Doctor, presumably because the Police always has to check into these things. He even made a comment "why don't you come back and settle this man to man?" I asked if he meant with his gun and he said "of course, I can't fight you without it". Oh brother. Oh and because my buddy was talking while he was driving me, and he is the type of guy that takes shit from people, "shooter" said he was going to go to his house and slit his throat and kill his father
So anyway, my eardrum is not broken, I think they used a word like perforated or something, but I will have a headache for a few days and my hearing will come back. I have a few questions for you guys, have you ever noticed that when pussies get guns in their hands they think they are tough? Although "shooter" and I are only aquaintances, we have always gotten along and I know he can't fight for shit, for one he weighs 340 and can barely walk. But you get a half gallon in him and a gun and voila' he is a badass
Another question, obviously the police are going to go round up his guns(unregistered of course), but will they arrest him right there? Even though the officers told me not to, I really think I need to have a "talk" with him(after the guns are gone of course
)
What would you guys do? Had he apologized from the jump I would have chalked it up as him being stupid and drunk and tried to keep him out of trouble as best as possible, obviously I still needed to go to the Doc, so I had to make some type of statement, but I could have painted him in a better light, rather than tell the truth word for word, which I did. One of the officers said it sounded like attempted murder, that seems too extreme. I put it in my statement that he wasn't trying to hurt me. But no use worrying about what I can't control I guess. If any of you respond, a few more facts about the dude. He is 37ish, lives on the welfare, literally begs me for money (usually small amounts though 20 and under), I have never went anywhere with him, he fkn stinks bad, I have only stopped by his place to buy things cuz crazy people get some killer meds. He is fat as hell, stalks some chick and sits outside her place all night from what I hear and definitely not what I would consider a friend at all. I kind of feel bad that he may go to jail, I obviously want to beat the fuck out of him, but not sure what I think about jail. Obviously if he were a friend and made a drunken mistake, this would be a different story, I would forgive him just like that. But after the way he spoke to me after the fact, I have no sympathy for the dude. How would you guys handle it? Keep in mind, I absolutely had to make a statement to the officer.
