That's a popular sci-fi theme that's been drilled in, but I was more curious what people think from their own take on it.  If we allied with Germany, I don't think it would have been the same as being beaten by Germany.  We were not a chump force and would not have been a chump force during and after the allied state with Germany.  It would not translate to a German takeover of America anymore than when we allied with the French before that.

PS, this is just out of curiosity, I don't have some pro-Nazi thing going on if anyone is wondering...

oh yeah, i know.  germany's allies went about their business after WWII and are doing okay today.

On a different topic... is it true the Lucitania (which got us into WW1) was sent without escorts into a known U-boat area and ordered to travel at half-speed?

That was kinda a poor decision.  Right?

OK, I will give my shocking take on where we would be today.  On exactly the same path minus Jews who took the anti Zionist stance.  The right good Jewish folks that took up a stance against Zionism would have been gathered up and burned :'(  The corporations would have taken a huge leap in power and we would be leaning more fascist sooner, but all in all I say we're on the same path in general that we would have been if we had allied with Germany.  Not much difference IMO...
