Sandra, I dont believe that is correct...

When I was preggo and stopped working wic was great for cereal milk and peanut butter. And once Jacks was born, it was all about using it for formula. I was on food stamps for 2 months, then I worked. Now I can still get wic, but havent used it since jacks was off formula, because I worked, I felt other people needed it more than I. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, unless you abuse it. In NYC, you are SUPPOSED to get food stamps and cash for only 5 years, unless you prove you cannot work (and most people prove it somehow). In CT it's 2.5 years.

Special Ed, I dont think anyone is claiming to be millionaires or anything to that effect. If anything, some arnt ashamed or wouldnt be ashamed. But thats my opinion

me and my wife used wic when my son was born,we mostly got the formula and cheese,we where goin through a hard time and had no choice,it was that or my son would not get his food.im sure many would do the same,did i feel good about it?no i didnt but i had no choice
