I don't get golf as a spectator sport. I mean, playing it yourself, sure, but watching someone else do it? What's the point?
Admittedly it's an aquired taste so to speak, I've been playing on and off for about 13 years, about 5 years ago I was playing consistantly then stopped (Peggy) before that I thought it was boring to watch simply because I didn't get it. After I started playing, I started watching, not for the excitement, but to learn technique but as I starting watching more, I learned to appreciate how hard this freaking game is. NOW, since the contest in Dec, my focus has been totally on getting better and better, I practice 3 times per week and play 2 times per week and just joined a local country club for tournament play.
I've played in quite a few cherity tournaments in the past, but never any for a title.............this is way more pressure than BBing.
ok, time for the flamming, I'm ready
