I hate gyms that close at 4 on sat/sunday.

I love 24 hour gyms because not only can I save money on rent and sleep there (just find a nice cozy bench and push it into the back corner) but they usually have Musclephone alerts so I can wake up each morning to learn something new about Jay Cutler's grocery shopping or Phil Heath's glutes.

4?...I thought my gym was bad...my gym is a small neighborhood gym that is only open from 8 am till 10 pm weekdays and sat 10am -6pm and sun 10 am -5pm...I hate the hours but what can I do?..it's right around the corner. |

Me too. My gym YMCA closes 4 and 5 on sat/sun. I don't train on Sundays but Sat. I have to go downtown to train in the late afternoon. |

I remember when I first started training at 16 years old in 1992. It was a small gym located on the basement floor of a civic center. I showed up on Columbus Day and the doors were locked.
I didn't give a shit, I broke a window to went in and lift. Got in a nice workout and took the money from a candy machine, while I was there. ;DBOOM!!
Now that's, hardcore...haah

Gold's Venice use to be 24-7, including Christmas, but hasn't been that way in many years. Gold's Hollywood is 5 am - midnight, 6 am - 9 pm on weekends. 24 Hour Fitness is 7 am to 11 pm. |

All the Las Vegas Gold's are open 24 hours, and they are the biggest and best equipped gyms in the chain.
The fact is there are very FEW people in the gym after 10 PM, and in the middle of the night it is not uncommon to have no one there.

i love 24hr.. corporate owned and to cut overhead they cut the ac off.. so i sweat so much i almost pass out.
plus im paying $35 a month for no AC. awsome customer service!
