It's fine to love Obama and hate hilary. It's good you're passionate about it.

But Hilary is older than Obama and married to a guy named Bill who commands $100,000 per hour-long speaking engagement.

If Obama *could*, he certainly *would* have earned $120 million in the last 8 years. hilary/Bill just have more earning power.

Obama *only* made 900k, but he's still a millionaire, as is almost every other major candidate. There are a million reasons to attack hilary... yesterday it came out the sob story she's been telling - about an insured girl who had a baby and they both died because of the health care system - well, the hospital staff said it's not true at all.

So attack hilary for legit reasons, not because "she's richer than another rich candidate".

If it comes down to the debates, all of their verbal committments in the media will matter naught.

You'll have Hilary standing with Wes Clark and Evan Bui saying she should be the candidate.
You'll have Obama standing with Mike Bloomberg and Chuck hagel saying he should be the candidate.

You'll have a skinny Al Gore, being BEGGED by the superdelegates to run.

And 1 of 2 things will happen:

1) Obama/Clinton will be the ticket.
2) Gore/Obama will be the ticket with a promise to make Hilary the Sec of State.

I completely agree with 240.

The Clintons made what they made because of who they are & what they have accomplished in politics. Actually, they paid a boat load in taxes and are in the highest tax bracket because of that. Also, and importantly, 10% of their wages were donated to charity. Thats a ton of $. Their charitable contributions are far greater than Obama, who gave a much smaller % to charity.

um when Obama makes $110M I'm sure he'd give just as much, but the brotha only made $900K how much of his fricken salary his is suppose to give away?? There's absolutely now way you can compare how much Obama gave vs Hillary. They're on 2 different levels financially.

i meant conventions - it all comes down to that. all the superdelegates who have committed in the press can change their mind at the convention and choose obama, hilary, gore, etc.
