Hahahaha...that's right! 'Ogre You Asshole' was in that movie!

I almost forgot van Damme had that scene in Breakin-1. Lucinda Dickey(Kelly) was a fox! Anyone remember her in 'Ninja-3: The Domination'?

Great movie, one you can watch over and over and not feel like your wasting your time. How can one not love a movie that co-stars Donald "Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds" Gibb.

As long as we're on Van Damme films, what's everyone's feeling on "Hard Target" ? I just re-watched it after about a decade, and it's still pretty darn good.

i have some classic early JCVD flicks on DVD, as i'm a big fan of his, and Hard Target might just be my favourite out of the bunch. the first fight scene, with JC and the would-be-rapists in the parking lot is one of THE coolest action scenes i've ever seen. i suggest everyone check it out, great film and has great villians too

I love Hard Target.

It also shows how John Woo lost his edge. He recycled a lot of his movie Hard Boiled in Hard Target but mixed the MA skills into it.

After that, it went downhill (for both?)

Another great JCVD movie is Timecop.

that's a big minus for you.  >:(

seriously, it has less MA and VD is only naked once and shows his split,  ;D ;D but besides that it's a good movie.

VD not being naked nor doing his split makes Hard Target his best movie though.  ;D ;D

Bloodsport is my favorite followed by kickboxer. JCVD hadn't achieved any fame then and seemed more humble and down to earth/introspective. It was odd to see a tough guy burst into tears when he found out his brother was crippled (kickboxer). It was  kickboxer that started my interest iin Muay Thai.

Kurt Sloane - You find him and you fuck him up. You fuck him up bad...and let him know it was a Sloane.

Recently he did one movie where he plays a bodyguard  to boxer and while training the boxers black posse he corrects the "gangsta" side gun grip. Nice jab to the gangsta wannabes. I forget the name of the movie but i think vivica Fox was in it.

I have no idea how Bloodsport can be seen as a "gay" movie. The title alone is hardcore let alone Bolo breaking a fighters leg/killing another.

What's up Donkey Kong - Hope your trip to Japan/remarriage ;) went well.

I watched Legionnaire last week. Actually that is quite a good movie. No spinning kicks or ball-wrenching splits, but maybe better because of it.

Yup, we had a great time.

The japanese marriage blew our marriage in germany ourt of proportion. We had a great day in germany and i thought it wouldn't be able to top, but we did it.
