A lot of heavy lifters have a liberal attitude towards cannabis. I guess because it's a great muscle relaxant and pain reliever without the negatives of opiates.

People tend to have a more accepting attitude towards weed than steroids though. Most people aren't smart enough to examine the facts about gear. Hell, most wont even do it for weed.

i used to smoke in my early college years and sometimes i'd sleep for 8-10 hours without waking up one time. not always a good thing but it helps relieve stress.

anways, on the subject of weed and bodybuilding...   alot of professional bodybuilders smoke weed;

myself, looking at the periods when i grew the most (excluding the last two and a half months) it was during periods when i was getting high all the time
