Are you talking about Arnold in the 70s or later? Consider when GH came on the market.

he had all of those facial features since the late 60's, so it's possible he was using gh from cadavars

I don't know, perhaps, but I kind of doubt it. I think the first commercial cadaver growth came in the late 70s and prior to that it must have been very hard to get.

GH from cadavers wasn't availalbe in the 60s.   and in the 70s it was quite expensive.  to use enough to cause acromegaly would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.    The neanderthal look in bodybuilders didn't show up until the introduction of cheap rHGH in the late 80s and early 90s.

any changes in his facial features in the 90s certainly could have been from GH.  but the pics of him as a teen...that's just his genetics

ok, i got that from here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Growth_hormone_treatment:

"Cadaver growth hormone is the term for GH extracted from human pituitary glands between 1960 and 1985 for therapy of deficient children. In the U.S., cadaver GH, also referred to as NPA growth hormone, was provided by the (National Pituitary Agency), and by other national programs and commercial firms as well. In 1985 it was associated with the development of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, and was withdrawn from use."

ok.  gh wasn't available to bodybuilders in the 1960s.   they might have been producing enough for a few dozen children.   and a therapeutic dose for a child is a small small fraction of what today's bodybuilder would use.

bodybuilders did not start using GH in amounts that cause significant muscle growth or that can cause acromegaly until the late 1980s.

except for the fact that the rhgh was being made in a lab many years before and took many years to get FDA acceptaince.....And Joe Weider sent some of his very own lab rats to be G/pigs...i've heard rumors of thousands of people being tested on...Or course many many midgets but a few bodybuilders also...

I don't think GH was produced commercially until early to mid 80s. No way was it being used by bodybuilders in the 60s or even 70s. That was a time when you didn't even need to be that massive anyway - most of the guys who were around 5'8" competed around 215 - 230.

even if true, they would have been given what today would be considered trivial doses.

alright, thanks for clearing that up. you're likely right, that it was natural for Arnold to have a large forehead, jawline, chin and large gap between his teeth (common signs of acromegaly), but is it possible that another drug caused it, like maybe test?

it's just odd that maybe as much as 40-50% of big guys on steroids have this facial look, and surely not all of them are on gh.

yes agreed...But i have heard stories of doses going up to 12ius a day back then...Who knows what is B.S. these days...I also knew guys who took 500mgs of syntex anadrol back in the 80's and said that it wasn't that much...For they went by went the insert said was the max...

there is no scientific evidence for this.   AS does not cause cartilage to grow.  GH does.

you'd have to compare pics of them in their teens with what they look like now.   you're noticing this in 'big guys', perhaps they're big because they have naturally higher than average levels of GH.

yes, that's what crossed my mind. could be why Arnold's features are so pronounced.

PS hows your little goal going?  :)

I did cardio with a really cute girl a few times. To be honest, I haven't trained the last 2 weeks or so. Lots of things going on, when I get into the swing of things, it will be great, but right now school girl are pretty much consuming all my damn time. And not having a car is killing me, i lose 3 hours a day on a shitty overcrowded train. Would love to buy a streetbike or small car. I have some money now, I might buy something, if I see a good deal..

But thanks for asking. I haven't forgotten about my getbig peoples, trust me when I am back training and have legit progress to report back, I will not forget about my thread and all of that. I think at this point I need solid transportation, I just can not make it work losing 3 hours a day, and being stressed etc. It's fcking tough, and I have tangible things I can gain in school, which makes it important, working out will provide me with nothing. So, it becomes less important...Fuck.

I swear. If I shaved my body hair and got a good pump going and posed in a thong I WOULD LOOK JUST AS GOOD AS THIS GUY. And I just eat shit food all day, train when I feel like it.
