I am honestly starting to think people may be better off using yahoo or hotmail, simply because with hushmail and cyber-rights being associated with ORD, using either gives the feeling of automaticlly doing something you want private. Everyone has a yahoo or hotmail account, not so many with the secure accounts. Which would you go after if you were law enforcement, if you think someone is breaking the law?

That sure makes sense to me.   No email is 100% secure, no matter what they try to tell you it is.   I know in my profession, emails from private accounts accessed at a work computer are considered "open access" because of public disclosure laws.   All I have to do is access one email in a given year and it opens up everything for subpoena if there is a legal inquiry -including emails with clients and referrals/case consults from other veterinarians, secure email or not.  I'd image law enforcement would do the same thing.   They'd just go through your ISP.

I like hush, but if you dont, you can always use google to find free webmail providers in little countries such as niggeria and open one there, use a proxy and thats it.
Its more likely hard to see the authorities going there and seizing the boxes :)

Its like when you run a board with phpbb, its more likely you are exposed to attacks because most exploits has been done for it due its popularity.

I don't know how much merit this holds, but I would be very wary right now with email traffic. Read the link:
