Go look at his recent history...........he's lied at least 5 times on each reguarding his "pastor" and his real estate dealings.

Sorry, Joe.

Please give us 5 examples.  That "look at history" doesn't work here.  You can't BS me on this one.

List 5 lies.  Show us where he's lied.  Or take it back.

For God's sake - if you're going to work to get mccain in office, you have to be HONEST with folks.  Everyone reading this thread now sees that you, a mccain supporter, just called obama a LIAR without evidence.

Makes mccain look bad.

please list 5 lies obama has made.

At this point, the environment isn't the concern when it comes to energy source.

The concern is 'where the hell do we get it'.

China would be a lot bigger and stronger today, but they cannot get enough oil to meet their needs.  Some worry events in the middle east could lead to a shortage here.  Ethanol isn't efficient now, but it can evolve.  On the other hand, save for that stash in alask and the gulf, and the chunk frozen in canada, we're dependednt upon the middle east to stay driving and alive here.
ROFL!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?? The environment is the main concern. In 5 years time the Noth polar ice caps will disappear off of the face of the planet. You seriously need to rethink your politics.

Here is a list of some of Obama's lies:

I'd like to see mccain win too, but I don't do it by making bold, general statements like "they're all liars!" then being unable to back it up with clear details of the lies.  People start to think you're bullshitting them.

Also, you have to admit your guy has flaws.  Mccain was a poor husband.  Mccain wanted to open up the borders.  Mccain had some shady dealings in the past.  Can you admit these flaws, then say he's the best man for the job?  People who are on the fense, not sure who to vote for, respect your opinion a lot more when you can list flaws in your own candidate too.  When you say "my guy is perfect, and obama/hilary suck!" it lacks credibility.

Can you list 5 lies that Obama has made?  We can list many for Hilary, but that's a pretty serious charge to throw at Obama.

Can you list 5 lies that Obama has made?

1. Lied about his association with Rezko and also about the amount of money he recieved from him (that's two right there).

2. Lied about his comments related to NAFTA, then told Canadian officials to not take his political positioning seriously.

3. Do I really need to say anything about his relationship with his "pastor". Just turn the TV on and take a gander.

There's more, but I have baseball game to coach in a few. See ya.

Rock n roll!  That's what I like to see!

I know you see my debate style as pro-lib, but it's really not.  I like to make people justify their positions.  Gives them credibility.  When you're relaxing at the baseball game and politics comes up, you can start the conversation with "well, I can list 5 lies that obama made in the last 2 months... that's enough of a reason for me to not trust the guy".

You now have more credibility on this issue, and you leave me (and many other readers) now aware that obama does like to lie a bit!

I would like to see our troops stop doing combat missions, and instead guard only the bases and oil facilities.

Let the iraqi army and police deal with the gangs and rival death squads. We've given enough $ and lives in the area, it's their turn to defend their country.  But at the same time, if we just leave, the oil will go to Iraqn and China.  And you know we need bases there, if/when the saudis ask us to leave.

Joe, you are 100% closed minded and nearly brain-washed.  I used to be like that, i have family members like that.

This administration is different, the economic collapse we are in is different, the foreign policy insanity is different.

This isnt the cosnervs ve the liberals of the 1980's.  Things have changed.

Turn off Fox News, quit listening to Lardass Limbaugh and educate yourself, see what is happening to this country. >:(

Joe, in order to convert the independents to vote for McCain we have to be honest with them.

Bush had a rubber-stamp approval for all his spending until spring of 2007 when the Dems were sworn in.  At that point, he made it a point to go on TV once a week and tell America that if Congress wouldn't approve his war spending bill, they were killing our troops.  Congress TRIED to push a bill thru with benchmarks, and bush vetoed it.  He went on FOX news and CNN every week, Joe.  "Congress doesn't want your kids to have the body armor they need, moms and dads!" is the message he sent.

You can't blame the dems for this financial mess.  bush cut taxes during times of prosperity, a huge economic no-no.  You're supposed to raise taxes during rich times, then cut them during a recession.  The reason the dollar has dropped 8% since Feb is that he tried cutting rates in a recession, required because he had cut taxes during the good times.

keep it real, take the blame when your party makes mistakes.  People believe your words when you do this.  When I say something is good abuot mccain, people believe me because I also tell them what he's done wrong, and what bush has done wrong.

McCain stood next to John Hagee while receiving his endorsement.  Nothing Jeremiah Wright has ever said compares to the hate spewed by Hagee.

which only shows how much McCain is willing to suck up to the religious right this time around, as in 2000 McCain (rightly) criticized Bush for speaking at Bob Jones University.

Damn, Hagee is anti-catholic, anti-semite, etc.

I wouldn't stand anywhere near that guy.

Joe, what is your opinion of Hagee?  Do you think McCain should be standing by this man's side?

At this point, the environment isn't the concern when it comes to energy source.

The concern is 'where the hell do we get it'.

ethanol from food crops is just corporate welfare for factory farms.    ethanol from food sharply increases the price of the food, which is already starting to cause instability in many parts of the world.

ethanol from cellulose will be viable some day.   until then we need to stop subsidizing ethanol from corn.

Joe, you know I like you bud... but seriously... The economy was in the tank back in 2001 and the only thing that wasn't was the housing market... here we are a few years later and the ARMs are eating people alive and that's just allowing the economy to be shown for what it has been for the past 6 or 7 years... Crap.

The Dot.coms were falsely overvalued by smart people who got rich and all bailed at once on jan 2, 01.

The housing market was falsely overvalued by smart people who got rich and all bailed in 2007/8.

The war in afghanistan then iraq saved the economy for 5 years.  This recession should have happened then.  War is very good for the economy.  Borrow a ton of money, unemployment down (able bodied men join the ranks!) and lots of spending.  War stocks thru the roof, as are oil companies.

However, all good things must end.  ending wars, yes, you do face recessions.  We're 2 months into one, and it'll last 18 months, but we'll recover fine.  People will hopefully be smarter next time about falling for the next fad (.com's with no real value, 2nd home with no real demand).  Wait, people will be just as dumb lol...

Agreed on all points... You certainly can't blame the economy on the Democratic party.

smarter next time:  like when a political party claims to be the fiscally responsible one, then once they get into office they say deficits don't matter (perhaps because rapture is just around the corner?) that we don't reelect them to do more damage?

Wrong on several counts, this isnt WW2, there is no draft and there is no huge boon in employment due to the war.  Its not like the rallied nation is manufacturing jeeps, tanks and planes in 1940's America  ::)

What this war has done is spend 1 trillion dollars we dont have-that is what is making a US dollar bill barely fit to wipe your ass with.

This isnt a simple recession that we will recover from in 18 months.  :-\

$12 bil a month is being spent on vehicles, bombs, salaries, and support infrastructure.  If you're in the reserves, there's a heck of an employment boom

We've established that iraqi oil will be sold in dollars.  That keeps the dollar relevant to OPEC and pegged in many arab nations for another decade.  That's worth a lot more than a trillion, my friend.

Time will tell.

the people in the reserves are being taken away from their regular jobs.

and what about the trillion that will be spent over the next 20 years taking care of the injured.

think of all the roads and bridges and subways and schools and moon bases we could have bought for the cost of this unnecessary war.

This war is a boon to reserves ? lol, many of those guys have lost their real jobs and their homes due to stop loss and the shitty paycheck they get from Uncle Sam.

Another decade huh ? based on what ?  Iraq hasnt sustained any oil production for more than a few months.  How is that going to force other Arab regimes to keep the dollar as the primary currency for oil ?  It isnt.  Iran and Venezuela will no longer be trading in petrodollars.

I wouldnt count on a steady oil supply when the pipelines keep getting blown up, we cant control Basra and the puppet regime in place right now may not be there in 24 months time.  :-\
