Proper pct with clomid or nolvadex and time. The price you pay, get used to it or don't cycle. Took me close to two months last time for my sex drive to kick back in and that was with 5 weeks of nolvadex pct.

Lol, I meant the other guy!  But while you're here...

You didn't use an AI while on?  Any bloat or signs of high E?  I've heard EQ has a long half life, but I don't know how suppressive it is, so maybe that contributed.  Also, you don't like HCG during cycle?

used adex throughout at .25mg daily, probably should have used more, no hair loss, some acne. never tried hcg.

A good PCT definitely helps. For a simple beginners cycle, a simple 3wk PCT of nolva only will usually suffice. Once you get into running bigger/more complex cycles longer PCT's with more things being used in PCT work better. IMO, HCG during PCT is a lifesaver, and this is one of the reasons.

I just had a heart attack about 7 weeks ago. I was in the middle of a cycle when it happened. The Dr said there was no damage from my usage but advised me to quit cold turkey since they really didnt know what the cause was. Wasn't your normal heart attack from blockage or anything like that. Anyway, if I don't take any PCT, how long will it take for my test to get back to normal. I don't want to take anything right now because I have to have more test and I don't want anything in my body.

That sucks man but I'm glad you're OK.

Hard to say how long it will take...everyone is differant. I know that seems like a bullshit answer but it's the truth. Age and simply your genetics will have a lot to do with how fast you get things back to working right.

Either way, and I hate to say this, but without any meds it's going to take a good bit of time to be back to 100%.

Might need to give it up to 2 years. And even then it might not bounce back fully, depending on cycle history, etc.

Ask your Doc if you can run Tribulus. It will not help with recovery, but may aid in helping with sex drive.

Ok, Guys, I just had a visit with the heart Dr and I am good and don't have to see him for a year. I have also went to my regular Dr and had my test levels checked and it was at 48 and my pituitary is not making any LH. We spoke about getting test shots but he wants me to wait three months first to see if my pit gland starts producing lh again. Meanwhile I'm running on fumes. Since I have been off for 2 1/2 months, is it too late to take any PCT? If not too late, how and what should I take. Well as for what to take, I am limited on what I can get. Usually just clomid, HCG has been hard to get but I could probably find some and every once in a while I can get novaldex. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would rather get my own test started back up if possible as oppossed to the shots. Thanks. ...PS, I've been taking tribulus and not really noticing anything.

How old are you? HRT may not be such a bad thing. In fact I think HRT is one of the best things in the world for anyone over the age of say 35-40 regardless if they were a former AAS user or not.

Jesus. Glad the few cycles I did back in the day were light. Hate to be one of these clowns on several grams of test for months on end. Doesn't take a genius to figure out the the longer you suppress your own hormones, especially with heavily androgenic gear, the longer it takes to get back to normal. Gh15's advice is going to create a lot of impotent guys, and the sad thing is, most of them on this board probably won't even compete.

I just turned 33. I dont mind the shots but just didn't want to wait 3 months b4 I get them when I might have a chance of not needing it at all. Also Van, thanks for the link, I'm going to look into it.

16 weeks is a long cycle... If someone running such a long cycle takes the proper anti-estrogen during the entire cycle like Proviron (my fav during cycle), couldn't be preventing a longer period of time to recover natural test production? The longest I cycled was 8 weeks and I never felt a major crash in natural test production, I only run nolva for pct and permixon for the prostate...

I don't see how Proviron would lessen suppression really. I haven't even seen any hard data on the supposed antiestrogenic effect of Proviron. Aromatase inhibitor, E receptor blocker, what? I think people have just extrapolated the effects of DHT to Proviron.

Also, going by feel is not always a good way to measure recovery.

Clomid, HCG and HMG would be the sledgehammer to get your test levels back up and to get the pituitary working.

I'm really sorry to hear you had a heart attack. Any news yet as to the cause? Were you monitoring your blood pressure during the cycle?

Best of luck.
