Of course not.  

No matter how bad life sucks, you can still find rewards that make it worth living.  

Craig can get a college degree while in prison and write the next great American novel.  Or, he can start a mock family with his cellmates and find a series of rewarding relationships as he moves into his golden years.  Happiness can be found in something as trivial as that first Newport drag in the morning, or going toe-to-toe with the essays in the yard over smuggling rights.

If I was innocent...I would be very pissed off for being in Jail & waiting 2-3 years fro the trial to begin.
