That will ruin his back in the long run, and he'll end up as a midget.

The one known as "Matt C." seeks levels of accomplishment not meant for for men of his humble character. Perhaps the pursuit of beggar or tailor is more suited to Lesser men of his common heritage.

Match my own Herculean efforts on the deadlift and you will earn, perhaps, the slightest shade of my respect.

Prove your claims or stop posting talking about them.  At least when I say I can lift a certain amount, I post clips proving it.

Aside from the hitching, No One's deadlift video is good. 412 for five reps without a belt is strong stuff.

How much does the belt help, weight wise?  I use one, but I can't say I've really noticed.  My greatest aid has been chalk by far.  I would recommend it to everyone.

Some people get more help than others. I think if you're going heavy, a belt can add quite a bit.

You better take it slow, with those genetics, he could put on 30lbs of muscle instantly!!  Many don't want the "bodybuilder" look. ::)

After watching some of those deadlifting videos....holy shit, I'm fucking weak..haha  Best being 405 for 10 @220lbs  Getting 3 reps with 600+lbs is impressive.

How many does Stavios wreck on an average weekend?

And yes, my friend does not want to push things too far because he saw a picture of Greg Kovacs and told me he does not want to get that big.

HAHAHA!!  I wish.

My short term goal is 465 for three similar quality reps.  Does the deadlift suit help though?  Personally I don't think straps do if chalk is used.
I did 375 for 3 today, last set...haha, at a weight of 212lbs...mediocre :)

They are tiny, I doubt he has used anything.
But then again you seem to know a lot about hormones and you are skinny/fat too.
Go figure!

True, I'm skinny fat, though those pics you posted on another thread were not me, I was just playing with you  :D

I'm just saying Matt most likely just tried a few handfuls of tablets out of curiosity.   :D

hhahhahhahhah, I have been thinking ever since then wtf this guy knows so much about hormones how can he be so skinny/fat. Its reassuring to think that wasn't you at least I hope its not.

Anyway does anybody have any  tips on how to avoid lumbar strains on the deadlift?
belts, starting position, contract core??
warm up of course.. but any specific stretches for the lumbar region people can recommend.

Discuss.

oh and please none of that go light b.s.
