I have had a couple requests to see the larger versions, so here they are. 

These were all taken the day after Junior Nationals last year.

For some reason, they always look weird to me the way they get compressed to post on the messageboard.   :-\

Have to say this is my favorite, you look really relaxed and a great smile, you can see how happy you are there, very cool pic.  Not to mention the fantastic physique.  Looks like that Chicago pizza the night before filled you out perfect!

Yeah, no shit... It was ribs, cocktails, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts.   ;D

I almost wish I had filled out a little more before the show, but it's such a gamble.  And shit loading is usually not a good idea.

I was just a touch watery in the glutes by the time these pics were taken, but I was MUCH more filled out and much more vascular.

In retrospect, my trainer and I both feel that I could have been a bit more filled out, but as you know, it is really tough because once you overdo it, you really can't go back.  Jr Nats are hard because prejudging is Friday evening, and the Finals are Saturday evening.  So if you have a need to maintain your conditioning to the Finals, you have to be really careful about loading.

This is very true. Hard to start adding weight back on at that point.  Guess thats why the timing is so important for peaking.  Best way to learn it is to diet down and see how things go.  I know there have been times i was ready 10 days out and that is hard to hold yourself right there.

And IMO, it's better to take a more conservative approach.  I'd rather be slightly flat than run the risk of being watery or smoothed over.
