I actually tried my best to get Ron to expand the permissions... He gaffed me off. Iran may not be a secular country, but they're not dumbasses.

Any nuclear attack on Israel would result in the death of a large number of Arabs/Muslims too, just because of geography/demographics.

Iran is already on shaky ground with the Arab world, and they've shown themselves to be quite canny in not overreaching their grasp.

adhmedijahad "may" have said it "once" in a loose translation by our media to benefit out ramping up of war efforts.

IMO, if the guy meant it, he'd be saying it 10 times a week, to every microphone within reach. instead, he may have said it once, and we're not really sure? But for some reason, the media reports that quote constantly.

If he does, that's betwen him and israel. Let Israel bomb iran, that's fine. Just don't use US $ and men to do it.

Iran would only act when Israel launches an attack on them.
i dont believe Iran is a real threat to Israel, its more likely the opposite way.
The Israel lobby is so much rooted into the US media that people out there will believe eventually Iran is the big satan.
especially there are so much dumb people who believe everything the media tells them and doesnt check both sides of the coin.

There's no benefit and the Palestinians would never be able to use the land. Also, the US would have to nuke Iran for revenge. Iran needs nuke capability to prevent Israel/US from attacking them. Iran's line of thought is probably aling the lines of "If Saddam had nukes we wouldn't have been so eager to invade". Don't really know how many people would disagree with them. The fear of Israel being nuked by a neighbor is the only thing that would prevent an attack. Personally, I hope it never happens. The country is a huge drain on the US taxpeyer now, I'd hate to see how bad they would suck us dry after a catastrophe. Our great grandchildren would be paying intrest on the debt.
