If 99% of suicide bombers and plane hijackers ARE muslim, doesn't it make sense to profile them and be more weary?

Logistically tell me how it makes sense to apply the same effort to a group of people who don't hijack planes?

Sometimes statistics can be a good gauge designate resources.

You're making assumptions and reading something into my post, as well as the comments of several Jews on Yeshiva News.  All we said was that a Muslim would have been treated much more harshly, and not partly because people are aware of a certain connection between Islam and bombings. The Jewish dude was simply ejected, no harm, no foul. Next time he can pray in his seat.

OK Deedee, do you agree that it is understandable that a muslim might be treated harsher?

Of course! And only a mentally retarded Muslim would board a plane, ignore the flight attendants completely, and continue praying. That was sort of the point.

It's not about the "who."  It's about the "what."  Anybody who wants to pray, or pare their toenails, or whatever, should not infringe on fellow passengers. Planes are claustrophobic enough as it is without having to deal with other peoples' personal requirements for a lot of space.

Whew!  :) Do you agree people should follow simple airplane etiquette?
