Looks great. Awesome development given his age

He might make it to the pro level, but I doubt he would be in the top tier - given his structure.

I think people forget that Steve is barely drinking age in those photos.
With many competitors not turning professional until their mid to late 30's, Steve has plenty of "future" in which to turn pro.

Steve won the overall at a national qualifier before he was able to buy alcohol legally.  Will he turn pro?  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on that.

The point that needs to be emphasized is that he has 15 years until he reaches his "prime" in which to try.

Is there something, "troponin"? ::)

I agree with this, although there are some exceptions like Gaspari who burn out early and I can't imagine Steve can continue to progress as he has been, especially in strength.  There is only so much the human body can handle.  I think he can be pro though.  He is only 22 after all.

whats his name, how old is he, what shows has he won

Steve Kuclo,
22,
NPC Capital City Classic 1st Place Teen, Teen Overall,
NPC Michigan Bodybuilding State Championships 1st Place Teen
NPC teen nationals heavyweights,
Motorcity Championships Superheavy and overall champion,
North American Championships -  Super-HeavyWeight, 8th <---first national show

and a pro within the next 5 years.

And just for you Candizzle.....one more guy who stays above 260 EASILY clean as a whistle because heavy weights and food (ala being Justin Harris's protoge and being taught how to actually depend on heavy weight training and food as tools for much of the year) were shown to him to be the keys.

His shape is kinda bad and he'd look better with more size(which he can certainly hold). Dude's youtube videos are pretty inspiring. I hope he does turn pro.

But why is it that every "camera guy" feels the need to add their stupid comments....if I heard him say "easy" like that when I am training, with that slow meathead accent, I would go nuts!

Just SHUT UP and film fuckers...

Sorry. nothing against the kid personally, but I don't see what the big deal is. He's got his name out there, and he's some good people behind him......I'll give him that. But I don't see much potential there. he's been seriously training and cycling for years now, he should be a lot more impressive. Sean Ray at 21 destroys him

Sean is in a whole other class and also half a foot shorter

I see your point but I still think that being a super-heavy weight at 21 years old is incredible

I'm just no good as a scripted thespian.  I wanted to throw the cue cards away and give my motivational words from the heart, but the collective meathead actor's guild insisted I stick to the script.

I'm not sure.
He's with the Dallas Fire Department.  I believe he is finishing up his first year this summer.
From what I understand, they work a typical 5 day/40 hour work week the first year.  After that time, they move to the typical hour split.

I'd imagine he will wait until he's completed his first year in the FD.

Why would he waste his time with hard honest work...

especially when there's a lucrative BB career to be had ?!!!

Damn, a bodybuilder with a serious work ethic and a real job! What gives?! All those guys who can't work normal jobs because it cuts into their training and tanning and eating need to hear this!!!

I'm not sure what kind of fitness requirements the fire departments would have, and I don't know if you can answer this Justin, but is being a superheavyweight bodybuilder (270, 280 lbs +) an impediment at all in his line of work? Do they have to run sprints or climb ladders in under 10 seconds or something?

We did a physical assessment for a Fire department in Indiana once.  There was some change in the insurance for the department.  They were all given a graded exercise test, ECG, Echocardiogram, blood work, and typical physician's inspection.  3 or 4 of them weren't able to complete the treadmill test because they exceeded the weight limit of 375lbs.....

I know they had daily 5 mile runs for his academy.  I would certainly have trouble with those.
I don't see his size having many advantages, but I don't think he's had much trouble with the endurance tasks.

You've got to be kidding me?!

I've NEVER seen a fat firefighter...some thick guys maybe, but obese?!

Seeing a fat cop doesn't make any sense to me either...but a fat firefighter?!  At least not here in So Cal
