I wonder if the native British appreciate the fact that they're second class citizens in their own country now.
I left the UK 10 years ago. I am due to go back there next month and have been told to prepare for a big shock.
The thing is though, when I talk to my friends in the UK, they never mention this stuff. Is it because it's not considered an issue or is it just the British "Stuff upper lip" in action ? We are famous for not complaining, after all.
Perhaps my perspective will change when I get there. My dad still lives in the village where I was brought up where the only Asian people run the local Chinese/Indian restaurants & the corner shops. There's not a single coloured person living in his street. 7 miles away there's a town called Walsall that has areas that are complete no-go zones for white people.
