Since cutler has stated he will be on stage at the O in 09, are we looking at a 4 time Mr Olympia? or do you think any guys will over take him. I think if he comes conditioned he has it locked this year (From recent guest posing pics he is ridiculously massive). What about 2009?

Re-read the definition of "Mr Olympia".

It's the bodybuilder who "best epitomizes"... all the good the sport has to offer... yada, yada...

The Mr O is the bodybuilding "representative" to the world. It's not the best physique onstage, it's the man who best projects a clean, consistent image and who makes the most business sense.

When you step back and see it that way, every judging decision, every 'dynasty', suddenly makes sense.

the guy realises he can come in 9 months out and still win the competition, he could go on for 20 years and the judges would still pick him as champ.
Basically he is milking the system for as long as possible

This year it looks like he's not trying to stay in contest shape year-round. I think that's what killed him last year, looking better in April than in October. A body can only take so much.
