arrrgggghhhhh, i just got home its 2:25 in the a.m. and i gotta be up at 7:00, my buddy came in from iraq and I had lunch and hung out with him for a little bit and then helped my friend move for about 5 hours (owning a truck blows for this reason) If we are allowed to submit tomorrow I will try it once or twice after i get off work tomorrow but if not i understand although ill probably try it just for self satisfaction anyways....what happend to wicked? he's not huge on benching, maybe it's just one of those things he didn't really feel like trying out.

of course, the alternate possibility is that, since his videos indicate he doesn't train from chest to lockout, really going all out on fuller reps isn't really up his alley. sorta like if you took an APF lifter (even if he lifted raw) and then put him in a competition where he had to go ass to grass.

Unfortunately, I wont be doing another submission. I am having a hard time with 135 right now. My shoulders both feel loose and I get a horrible pinch in the back of my right shoulder when I bring the bar within 2 inches of my chest.

I should have just done a "serious" vid first time out. Will there be parting gifts?

shame, i was kinda looking forward to seeing what wicked was capable of. it IS weird that he didn't at least give it a token shot. if i'm winning with 23, he could have taken an easy 2nd.

Touch and go like in contest?

I just tend to not go down that far... I'm usually a couple of inches off the chest.

Just wondering what the rules are...

ya each rep had to touch the chest, no bouncing and touch and go was ok.

well a contest isn't touch and go, it's paused until the judge says "press". but for this, chest to lockout "touch and go" is absolutely fine.

alright 2nd and last attempt just did it you have to excues the shorts i just got off work, i tried to film the weights from the side b/c my camera doesnt have a night mode, LOL i set the safety pins in there and didnt check so on the 20th rep i couldnt get it back up and it sat on my chest....Im an idiot hahahah good shit magoo props on the 23 bro your a strong bastard.

it's 11:06pm, June 1st, central time. so to me that means it counts. far as i'm concerned if it's still June 1st somewhere on the planet the submission is valid.

and i'm fine with going by the getbig clock. i mean, i doubt anyone's doing their benching at 12:11am EST, but whatever. i really, really don't want to see anyone with a winning video get hosed by technicality.

i dont think anybodys gonna get 24+...lol this was a lot harder than i thought it would be, after about 15 or so my chest and tris were burning something pretty fierce like i said props to magoo on 23.

oh and i forgot about the weight im 205 give or take 2lbs

haha, that's the funny thing. once you hit your "groove" reps 2-15 or so are just easy pie. then the weight feels like it goes from 225 to about 405 near the end. notice how all of my videos save the one i did without a spot end with first a really, really easy rep, then i just get stapled.

and i'll bet you'd have gotten 205x25 pretty easily if we were going bodyweight. probably more.

hahah way to go for all those that participated..i was going to do my video yesterday but i was out of town camping and brought everything but my damn camera. I'll be doing a rep out with 225 wednesday just to give your punkass (magoo) a run! Trust me.. if you can get 23..i'll have no problem.

i'd be lucky to get one with my "rom" issues

honestly.. mid 20's is what i expect.. if i get the red ass and really push it maybe 30 on the highest end. we'll see.
