Great show tonight featuring a preview of the New York Pro with Under 202 favorite CHARLES DIXON and a special guest from Da Hood - the leader of the Bloods and author of 'War of the Bloods in my Veins' DASHAUN 'Jiwe' MORRIS.

- First, CHARLES DIXON takes us into his world and describes his training, nutrition, and supplementation in great detail as he closes in on his pro debut at the 2008 New York Pro.

- Then, DASHAUN 'JIWE' MORRIS, the leader of the Jersey Bloods discusses his new book 'War of the Bloods in my Veins' and his crazy life that began with drive-bys at age 11, gangbangin' from Phoenix to Newark, Russian Roulette, his NFL dreams, prison, and how he finally escaped the gang life.

Yo Block do you have any thoughts about the 40 people shot and I believe 8 killed this weekend in Chicago. I'm safe on the North side but is there a gang war brewing that the news is not reporting.

I do have thoughts on the 40 or so shooting and 10 people dead last weekend. It's been 50 below ZERO the entire winter. They don't like the cold. You feel me?

The WEST SIDE looks like someone kicked over an Ant hill right now with Chicago being in the 70's and sunny. Every year when the weather breaks err-body acts a dam fool! There are always gang wars brewing in Chicago. The City of Gangsters. Gangsta City. Chicago is the street gang capital of the Earth. Not L.A. but Chicago.

The West Side and all of Chicago, including the north-side is fueled with gangs. It grows bigger and bigger every day.

I hear some gangbangers talk about markin' their turf and telling it like it is with all this sign language crap, they just made up. It is like being with a bunch of deaf folks and not knowing any sign language.
Didn't they ever stop and think, hmmmmmm, if we post symbols nobody but our gang understands , how will we get our message out? I applaud the guy for getting on with his life, that does show some intelligence.

I guess their culture, symbolism and code isn't for the average SQUARE to understand, Howard.

To give you a slight clue...the Folk Nation gangs use a 6 point star in their graffiti and symbols. Why? The symbol of King David. In Folk Nation world, 'Kind David' was a cat named David Barksdale who in November of 1978 created the Black Disciples gang. That was their tribute to him. The 'star of David.'

Negative. It originates from Chicago. All of it does. www.chicagogangs.org

In L.A. it's Blood and Crip gangs. Slobs and Crabs aren't really under an alliance. Not like how it is in Chicago. In Chicago the gangs fall under the PEOPLE(5 point star/ bust hat to the left) Nation and the FOLK Nation (6 point star / bust hat to the right) .

Gangs in Chicago known to wear black and blue would be the Gangster Disciples(folk) and the red and black would be the Vice Lords(people). That is our version of Bloods and Crips.

In the penn and on the streets the crips would most likely roll with FOLKS and Bloods roll with PEOPLE...hence, DeShaun saying "All is Well".
