We are in the industry are always saddened when we hear bad news, but this one is tough. For our friends at Europa Sports lost someone close today.

On the way to work today going to the offices, Lin McAteer was involved in a horrible car crash, which ultimately caught on fire, and worse. Lin passed away today, and we are all shocked and upset by this. We all wish to pay our respects to a rep who we have seen at various expos around the country.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends, family and colleages. He was a good guy, and from friends who I have talked to, he was a big guy, who never got upset, made you laugh, and well liked.

Never met him in the company but that's sad to hear about.

Oh my God, I just spoke to Lin last week. He was an extremely nice guy. He was my rep for probably over 10 years. I also considered him a friend. I'm at a loss for words. Life is short, sometimes way too short. RIP my friend. You will be missed.

Lin was one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He was a good friend to my husband Remi and I for a long time, always there with the best advice when i needed something while preparing for a show. He was the best at what he did and we will never forget him. RIP, Lin...he is now with his mom who passed away not long ago.
