AN ABSOLUTE FREAK great muscle shape,came in a time when many amateurs were at the top of there game .i would have given his card anyway,there have been less deserving pros .

he won that show IMO, destroyed Duffy and Beau Matlock who both placed ahead of him...I have no idea how they beat him, he's in good shape there and nobody was close to him in terms of size and shape.  Duffy was ripped but skinny...that is one fo the worst judging decisions I've ever seen.

DUFFY was peeled when he won,but way too tall even then ,did zero impact on pro curcuit.

It's called tough competition.

There was so many big names coming up & the competition was ridiculous.

I was there...yes, he lost to a ripped to shreds Duffy. Edgar was notorious for coming in smooth, especially in the prejudging. This video is from the following night at the finals. Edgar could have won most of the shows he entered....if he was in shape.

I respect your opinion on this one cause you were there but when I see the vid of that show-I have it somewhere and look at everything, fullness, size, muscle shape, proportions...all that jazz....I don't think Duffy's conditioning should have trumped it.

Tell me this is a joke......THIS guy beat Fletcher?  Even if his condition was 10% better....his shape is 40% WORSE than fletcher...nowhere near as thick, developed, detailed, full, flowing, aesthetic....ROBBERY!

I think conditioning is overrated nowadays.

This is a good example.. sometimes conditioning seems to make up 80% of a rating.

I prefer the look of the ironagers.. still pretty lean but not ripped to the bone... much healthier also.
